Guess Who

This one is a classic, and it appears to be popular with kids for a reason. A very simple game of deduction, this one is great for helping young kids with vocabulary and speech.

Plus, you add your own Guess Who cards for another take on the game with things like numbers or Presidents or any other topic you want to play

The game is 2 player and advertised as 6+, though younger kids can definitely play with help. A round plays pretty quick.

My boys pulled this out and asked to play. My 4 yo played with some guidance from me. Two rounds seemed to be a good amount of turns for him and he was ready for something else.

The girls then pulled it out and played about 6 games in a row. It’s a great game for older kids to play independently. And as a parent, this game plays quick enough that you can sit through a couple rounds with your kids without it taking too much time. It’s a classic for a reason.

Overall Thoughts:

Mom’s thoughts : For what it is, this is a great game for letting the kids play by themselves with minimal help from mom. It also plays quickly for when the kids want to play with mom, as this is definitely a kid's game.

Werewolf Thoughts : I think its a fun game and I like how you have to guess who the other person is.

Rosie Thoughts : It's fun to play and one of my favorites.

Robot Thoughts :  I like winning this game.

Lizard Thoughts :I like guessing who they are.

Overall recommendation: this game is a classic for a reason. It’s easy for kids to play together independently without a parent involved and the kids get it out often. However, it is definitely a kid’s game and eventually it will be outgrown. In the meantime, all enjoy playing it. Some reading involved but kids can play it if they don’t read.

Only downside I can see is the cards fall out of their platform easily and I have to frequently remind them not to remove it.

Where to Buy it:

Pretty much any major retailer carries this one.

Note: we purchased our copy new on Amazon, I had intentions to use the board to customize my own version for Gameschooling, and it wouldn't be too hard to do with a little creativity. If we ever do create our own custom Guess Who game, I will be sure to show it off here.
